Job Description
The candidate should have a certification of CCS /CPC-H/CPC certification, with 1-2 years experience in Inpatient hospital coding ,ICD-Vol 2/3 codes,
Abstracts all Emergency procedures utilizing the International Classification of Disease, Clinical Modifications (ICD-9-CM) system and the Current Procedure Terminology (CPT-4)/HCPCS guidelines for code assignments. Determines and enters charges for ER visit level & additional procedures performed in ED setting and ER facility procedures if required to work on facility ED coding
