Job Description Working with a multidisciplinary technology team for the development of next generation sequencing platforms that will be used in clinical laboratories.

 

 Responsibilities will include sample preparation, instrument operation, and data analysis. A background in biophysics, bioengineering, molecular biology or biochemistry is required. Eligible candidates will contribute to: - Next generation sequencing using the Ion Torrent PGM - Diagnostic platforms that comply with regulatory standards such as FDA and CE Marking - Product development, verification and validation Minimum Qualifications (must have) BS Degree - Strong skills in molecular biology (including DNA and protein handling, PCR, biomolecular quantification methods such as bioAnalyzer and qPCR) - Able to follow protocol and regulatory rules - In depth knowledge in data analysis and interpretation (proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with statistical analysis methods and tools) - Able to clearly communicate both in writing and speaking - Broad knowledge in sequencing and molecular amplification technologies Preferred Qualifications (nice to have) +5 year of relevant industrial experience, specifically with NGS systems
