| The focus of Business Technology Architect (BTA) is to lead and establish business value creation for Drug Development by leveraging technology. The role encompasses the full lifecycle – from ideation to requirements elicitation, design, implementation and rollout of the solutions. 1. Drive Innovation ideas / discussions, PoC’s. Evaluate new technological develop-ments and evolving business requirements and makes recommendations for im-proved service levels and efficiencies 2. Provide input to project proposals related to new technologies/innovations. Actively engage with business and technical stakeholders 3. Structure problem domain and drive/define data, process, functional, and archi-tectural requirements. 4. Be ultimately accountable for the full lifecycle of the solution. 5. Identify potential solution options, defining selection criteria; establishing prototypes; and driving requirements ensuring alignment with delivery of business value; solution architecture; solution design. 6. Drive implementation of new/enhanced solution. Ensure that the architecture satisfies defined performance, security, and availability parameters. 7. Provide in-depth technical and business knowledge to ensure efficient design, programming and implementation. 8. A sound understanding of the key business activities/domain. An ability to think about business processes outside of the technology context. 9. Experience in agile or hybrid SDLC. Good understanding of the IT Solution Delivery processes 10. | Bachelor degree in engineering (BE/BTech) or MCA in computer science or related area At least 5+ years of hands-on development/implementation experience in Oracle Clinical/Thesaurus management(TMS) Fluency in English (oral and written) Well rounded with a good mix of technical, business, and interpersonal skills Proficient skills in teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, working in a matrix environment and conflict resolution. Working and Managing in cross-functional teams. • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in working in the Pharmaceutical Industry preferably in the Drug Development function. • Be the role model and leadership • Strong knowledge in more than one Business Domain and Technology • Advanced business analyst and technology skills • Capable of managing and leading a medium to large sized group of BTA’s as a Team lead (8+) • Advanced Agile and hybrid SDLC experience • Exhibits awareness and advanced thinking around larger architectural and business drivers and leads the charge to bring about changes to the domain/enterprise architecture and solutions accordingly. • Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation and business partnership capabilities • Organize/run Innovation networks, drive innovations discussions & PoC’s, manage associates working on Innovations tasks. Be a thought leader in a technology/functional domain to drive Innovation. • Manage Innovation network group / roundtable discussions • Bring about ideas, thoughts, leadership in innovation space • Conduct and manage innovation related PoC’s • Scout the industry, technology space for disruptive ideas • Engage in external industry networks - bring in best practices from the industry to drive innovation Business Domain Knowledge • Clinical Data mgmt. • Clinical Reporting & Analytics • Pharmacovigilance • Drug Safety • Drug Supply • Labs • Regulatory • Submission & Publishing • Real World Data • Portfolio Management Technology Domain Knowledge : Minimum 5+ years of strong experience in Oracle Clinical / Thesaurus management Implementation Knowledge of clinical data management systems and/or relational databases as applied to clinical trials Good knowledge in database design, testing, and programming tasks of the Clinical Data Management (Oracle Clinical Preferred) Writing Validation, Derivation procedures and Custom PL/SQL programming in OC Oracle Clinical Global Library (GLIB) maintenance and management, including implementing standards. Batch Data Load for Labs or any third party Data Lab setup and Lab ranges in OC Programming custom Oracle Clinical External Extract Views SQL*Plus & PL/SQL programming Designing and developing study databases in Oracle Clinical as per protocol specifications is a big plus Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with our global partners and external partners |
