Associate Research Scientist (Pharmaceutical Development) Analytical department.-Astrazeneca INDIA

Major Accountibilities are as follows :

• Have a deep knowledge of analytical instruments such as Liquid chromatography, Gas Chromatography, NMR and Mass spectrometry and typically also a functional knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry.
• Co-ordinate and provide direction in own specialist area both within and outside own section, and will thereby provide solutions to difficult problems.
• Requires professional and effective levels of interactive communication skills as the role holder will be expected to establish and maintain essential relationships with colleagues and managers in several interacting departments.
• Require evaluative judgement to the development and optimisation of analytical methodology based on the in-depth analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations. This will constantly require new and flexible approaches to problem solving.
• Requires an understanding of the principles and application of SHE , GLS and GMP.
Qualification & Experience.
The Associate Research Scientist position requires MSc in Analytical Chemistry (or related field of science) with 5+ Years of experience.
