National Institute of Nutrition was established with a vision to enable food and nutrition security conducive to good health, growth & development and increase productivity through dedicated research, so as to achieve the national nutrition goals set by the government of India in the national nutrition policy.

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW at this Institute on 19th February, 2014 at 09.30 A.M. to 10.30 A.M. for filling up of Twelve ( 12 ) Junior Research Fellowships at this Institute

·         Position : JRF

·         No of Post : 12

·         Desired Profile : 1st class M.Sc., in Biochemistry / Microbiology/Life Sciences/ Nutrition / Applied Nutrition / Statistics and they must have qualified in the ICMR/CSIR/UGC/DST/DBT-NET JRF-Fellowship exams with fellowship

·         Areas : Various facets of Nutrition research that encompass but not limited to Carotenoid & Vitamin A metabolism, fatty liver disease, insulin resistance & metabolic syndrome, probiotics, neuroprotective compounds, food safety and biostatistics.

Age :  Below 30 years

Stipend : As per ICMR/CSIR/UGC/DST/DBT rules respectively

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications, ICMR/ CSIR/UGC/DST/DBT-NET /JRF-Fellowship qualified award letter and caste along with a set of photocopies of the same and a latest passport size photo, wwhile attending the Walk-in-Interview.
