Job Description
To perform Literature search of the Development Projects; this mainly includes Patent status of that particular Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and its Formulation(s) in the concerned countries.
To prepare Formulation Development strategies for adhering to the set-up timelines.
To carry out Preformulation studies and manufacture prototype batches.
To develop, monitor and validate new formulations and provide support for existing products.
To assist the Senior Research Scientist in the day-to-day functioning of the Formulation Department.
To generate and revise various documents like Standard Operating Procedures, Formats, Protocols, Reports, Master formula, POMs etc. for the Formulation Development laboratory.
To prepare batches for Stability studies on Laboratory scale and Pivotal batches for Stability and Bioequivalence studies.
To perform Process Validation activities of the development batches.
To prepare and revise Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and formats and to ensure that the SOPs are in line with actual work practices.
To be responsible for all activities in the Formulation Development laboratory including cGMP, documentation and implementation of departmental Quality Systems.
To provide technical support during Technology Transfer of project.
To ensure that an adequate stock of materials is maintained in the FD stores.
Desired Profile
Desired Candidature:
Minimum of 03+years of work experience in Formulation Development/Technology Transfer.
Should have experience in Solid Oral Dosage Forms.
Should be well versed with Regulatory guidelines.
Should have strong communication skills
Willing to releocate to Bangalore.
Experience: 3 - 8 Years
