Job Description:
To provide quantitative analytical support for Pharma Development, including IGDF and Development Franchises. These tasks are to be performed independently or with minimal supervision. To provide quantitative analytical support to the IGDF and Development Franchises. Support the planning, execution and close-out of Clinical Programs/Trials. Provide understandable and actionable business intelligence for key stakeholders. Support the management in collation and delivery of information packages for critical decision making. Work with the internal SMEs and key stakeholders in providing analysis and interpretation of clinical program/trial operational efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering (Biotech, Computer Science, Information Technology), Pharmaceutical, Life Science or similar field, MBA from reputed institutes. Fluent English (Oral and Written)
•2 to 4 years’ experience in Business Analytics and/or Clinical Trial Setup, Conduct, Reporting
•Pharma, CRO, Life Science experience would be preferred.
Required skills:
•Good quantitative & systems background.
•Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users in the areas of clinical databases (both internal and external).
•Knowledge of SQL to write and understand queries and extract datasets and produce reports from Databases
•Familiarity with one of the following Business Intelligence tools: Cognos, Hyperion, Crystal Reports, Spotfire, JReview
•Ability to program in Microsoft Excel
•Ability to produce professional PowerPoint Slides that clearly communicate analyses to stakeholders
•Attention to detail, quality, time management and customer focus
•Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to operate effectively in a professional environment
Desired skills:
•Understand Clinical Development and Operational process and regulatory requirements is preferred
•Understanding of Clinical Trial and Database Management systems for clinical research and development would be an added advantage
•Knowledge of SAS/R/S+
•Understanding of trends in global clinical development, including key competitors, is preferred
•Ability to work independently, in teams, under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative technical ability.
