Designation	Associate Director/director Clinical Data Management
Job Description	Responsibilities: Provide Leadership and direction to the assigned DM group or function Ensure the quality and timeliness of DM deliverables to sponsors Supervise and mentor DM staff Evaluate training needs for departmental staff and ensure they are met, participating in training as appropriate Identify and qualify resource requirements for ongoing and future projects Manage billable and non-billable time for the assigned group or function Participate in the creation and review of DM SOPs and User guidelines Track DM metrics on quality and efficiency, and participate in the implementation of improvements Provide support to PMs with regards to DM Ensure optimal interactions between DM personnel and personnel in other departments Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives within the company Participate in BD activities, including sponsor presentations, proposals Participate in audits Participate in the procurement or development and user-acceptance testing of DM related systems including hardware and software needs Act as PM for standalone DM Projects Represent inVentiv at professional meetings Requirements Bachelors degree; Masters degree preferred. In lieu of Bachelors degree 11 - 13 years (total) of relevant experience including 8 - 10 years of relevant DM experience with increasing responsibility 8-10 years of progressively responsible DM or clinical experience, including PM and staff supervision, with 6-8 years of DM Experience Demonstrated expertise in PM and Staff supervision, including effective mentoring Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to serve in a leadership role in DM Ability to deal effectively with sponsors and internal customers at all levels
