Description

Due to continued growth, PPD is hiring a Manager, Clinical Data Management to be based in Bangalore to support our global projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational American based CRO that is growing and expanding in India. Joining our global Data Management team, we employ the technology, processes and expertise that best meet the needs of our client’s project with PPD’s Clinical Data Management solutions. Across a broad range of therapeutic areas and quantitative methods, PPD has extensive data management experience for Phase I-IV clinical trials.
 
The objective of the Manager, Clinical Data Management is to manage the day-to-day operations of Data Management projects as well as manage the project staff and workloads for direct reports.
 
Duties and Responsibilities of the Manager of Data Management will include:
  • Management of client contact, functional, administrative and financial oversight of projects assigned.
  • Development and implementation of processes, procedures and training for the data management function.
  • Providing high-quality technical support on project.
  • Providing leadership and coaching to direct reports.
  • Demonstrating strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, internal and external clients; effectively manage projects to deliver quality products in agreed timelines; demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, as applicable, to client deliverables and needs.
  • Ability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis requires evaluating various factors
  • Ability to participate in business development activities.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in biological or clinical field or in software development
  • 5 years’ experience in clinical data management and proven people leadership positions
  • Previous experience from a CRO, or a mixture of Pharmaceutical and CRO experience
  • Ability to think strategically, identify clear plans that align with corporate goals and drive growth
  • Prior experience in planning, managing and directing complex projects, budgets and resources is required
  • Must be able to set and meet, for self and team, timelines or be able to recognize and schedule changes in response to project demands.
