Job Description

Overview of the role
To develop and maintain system and data transfers between our clients and ICON based on their requirements.

Role Requirements

• Program and develop system and data integration at basic level of complexity as designed in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate project specifications
  
• Perform data integration code reviews and creation of installation procedures at basic level of complexity.
  
• Perform reviews of system integration specifications/designs at basic level of complexity.
  
• Perform troubleshooting of problems generated by data transfers with little supervision.
  
• Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international
  

Supervision
Supports the organization, management and vision of the practice.
Supports the multiple tasks involved in a project or assignment and prioritizes their completion.

• Some experience with SQL Server and T-SQL Programming
  
• Some experience with Data Integration technologies including DTS and SSIS.
  
• Understanding of problem solving and debugging at basic level of complexity.
  
• Prior work experience not required, experience may be obtained through education and/or training
  
• Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver’s License.
  
• Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in life sciences, business technology, information technology or related discipline.
