General Work Related Duties

•          Execution & timely reporting of product development trial plan

Trial planning with Technical Manager & ensuring that resources are in place for execution. Regular visit & hands on working to ensure high success rate. Timely reporting & data management (ARM)

•          Product Evaluation

Carrying out trials and testing for new products which have not yet been introduced in the Indian market for one’s respective region. Conducting an evaluation of the data generated and thus giving a feasibility report about the product.

•          Regional marketing support

Regional mapping of opportunities, Proactively identifying problems & defining commercial scope, Developing solutions & demonstrating benefits by adaptive demonstrations, Developing FAQ’s to manage  Customer expectations, Providing support in developing regional marketing inputs, Keeping track of the competitive activities, Training to the field staff & trade on  products / concepts

•          Scientific Liaison

Ensuring a strong interface with the scientific community so as to get their inputs on various technical issues and also to keep track of the latest trends in the industry globally.

•          Regulatory , GA / PA support

Mapping of key academic contacts & closely working with them to support our business needs – Biotech, Conservation tillage, State recommendations, and Technology promotion. Regulatory support by way of data generation & obtaining timely reports with Government system for approvals.

•          Supporting partners

Providing technology support and training to sub-licensees so that they can carry out their business smoothly and also understand the intricacies of the products in detail.

2)   Environment, Health and Safety

·          To ensure safety at work and home. Keeping in mind Monsanto’s Safety Pledge and ensuring nil reportable incidents during the year

3)   Miscellaneous responsibilities

Supporting sales during peak seasons by training the distributors and dealers and carrying out farmer meetings.

Qualifications

· Education                                                        Post graduate in Agriculture. · Experience                                                      0 – 2 years experience in related activities.
