SD2038 Job Title: Clinical Data Associate – Mumbai - Experienced applicants only Description:
 
Due to a number of recent high profile awards our Data Management Group is expanding!
 
Chiltern International is seeking to appoint a Clinical Data Associatefor our office in Mumbai.
 
PLEASE NOTE APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS COMMERCIAL CLINICAL DATA MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AS WE CAN NOT OFFER GRADUATE TRAINING POSITIONS IN THIS ROLE.
 
The CDA I participates and executes the Data Management functions in accordance with Chiltern and/or sponsor Standard Operating Procedures. He or she will perform Data Management activities on a variety of studies from PI-PIV.
 
Primary responsibilities:
  • Provide input and assistance in the design of Case Report Forms (CRFs).
  • Assist in preparation of data entry guidelines for selected projects
  • Assist in the creation of test data for entry screens and edit checks
  • Test data entry screens as per data entry guidelines and CRF for selected projects
  • Create, issue and update the database with resolved data queries
  • Reconcile project files, reports, listings and other documents generated in data management against a database for accuracy and completeness of data management processes
  • Performs the filing and archiving of CRF’s in DM
  • Work concurrently on multiple clinical trial projects
Requirements:
 
  • A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a mathematical, computing, or life sciences related area or similar Associates degree (or equivalent) with corresponding experience credentials.
  • Experience of working in Data Management for a CRO
  • Good understanding of the clinical trial process
  • Understanding of other Biometrics/Data Management roles and deliverables of those groups
  • Knowledge of the principles of software validation
  • Good oral and written communication, organizational skills and personal presentation. The ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience working in a team environment under time and resource constraints
  • Understanding of the principles of ICH GCP and regulatory requirements especially as they relate to data management activities
