Job Responsibilities:
* Performing the Physicochemical characterization of NCE's
* Screening of salts for NCE compounds in High throughput salt screening platform
* Identification of polymorphs, hydrates, solvates for NCE and generic compounds
* He/She will be responsible for routine analytical testing (HPLC, X-ray powder diffraction, DSC, TGA, IR, particle size distribution, microscopy, etc.)
* Job would required to closely work with the formulation scientist in selection of polymers for solid dispersion approach through high through put platform

Skills:
* In depth knowledge and hands on experience in XRPD, crystal behaviors
* Knowledge thermal analytical techniques, salt screening, polymorph identification
* Determination of relevant polymorphic forms of NCE molecules
* Evaluation of polymorphic transformations
* Identification of thermodynamic most stable form
* Identification of hydrates and solvates
* Evaluation of different crystallization techniques (cooling, seeding, addition of antisolvent, pH shift, and salt formation)
* Variation of solvent systems (solvent quality, solvent class)
* Determination of proper stirring time and speed
* Assessment of changes in substrate concentration
* Process development in terms of crystal design (size, shape)
* Comprehensive analytical testing (HPLC, headspace GC, X-ray powder diffraction, IR, NMR particle size distribution, microscopy, etc.)
