Position:  Compliance Specialist
 
Location – Bangalore
               
GROUP OVERVIEW          
               
The Global Compliance team will  

  •  Take responsibility for the quality of CA (Custer Order Management Center) compliance with internal and external rules and regulations to minimize liabilities
  • Collaborate with all groups involved   to ensure that the impact of any changes is fully understood and catered for
  • Provide management reporting both regular and ad-hoc to the regional CAs
  •  Provide compliance reporting and monitoring and work with the regional CAs to resolve any compliance issues
  • Support the regional CAs in carrying out data reconciliations and audits as required                                 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
                                               
The work may include any of the following depending on the region the role is responsible for:      

  • Extract data from reporting databases in order to produce a suite of reports for the regional CAs.
  • Perform top-level and in some cases detailed analysis to the suite of reports and distribute the reports or post the reports on the Intranet as necessary.    
  • Carry out data reconciliations and control reporting - includes follow up with regional OMS and other groups as required to ensure any discrepancies are resolved and the CA compliance regulations are met.
  • Escalate any issues be they internal or external to regional CAs.
  • Minimise liability exposure to 3rd parties and ensure SOX compliance by monitoring and resolving compliance issues  
  • Assist the regional CAs as necessary with preparation, outputs and follow-up for audits both internal and external.    
  • Maintain regional Authority Matrices files and names on the approvers list as applicable. 
  • Authorise internal user accesses and administer allocation of accesses and maintain user profiles

Experience:        
                                 
Level 1 - 3-5 years in a business environment, strong Excel skills, attention to detail and ability to pick up and maintain knowledge of systems and processes. Proven documentation and communication skills.  MS Access or Business Object skills both very useful.
